Welcome:

IMG_8486I never imagined I would teach yoga when I first got into this practice.  It was incredibly healing of course, no doubt about that, and I knew it would always be a part of my life but never did I think I would be a teacher, let alone a studio owner.  Maybe that’s why I don’t like to refer to this space as a studio; it’s a school.  Where teachers and students can learn and grow.  I am a student of life and I’ve learned so much from teaching and my students — for that I’m so grateful. I have never experienced anything that can reflect my own strengths and weaknesses so clearly and honestly like Bikram yoga does.  Every day that I get on my mat and towel, I feel blessed and honored that yoga found me.  Really that’s how it feels.  Like I’ve been invited to work through all my challenges through practicing and connecting.  And I humbly accept that invitation day in and day out. After being lucky enough to travel throughout the world and witness other studios and schools I started to see what was missing here in Burbank.  I committed to work on my teaching, my practice, and mentoring my peers.  I also dedicated countless hours of work through feedback on my own awareness and abilities as a yoga teacher and it became clear to me that I had to open a space.  A space where the teaching is honest, educational and trustworthy, where the facilities are impeccable, and the vibe is always real. Real people wanting to heal their bodies and minds.

With access to invaluable information on self-healing, delicious juice, and an all around connected community of people who are like-minded. The work we do feels raw and vulnerable, and I love coming to this space.  I’m so proud of my team and all my students.  The work is continuing and I’m so excited to keep digging deeper with all of you.  Thank you to all of the people that have made this school happen. Especially to my family and my friends for the diligence and support over the last three years it’s taken to make stretch a reality. My crew of passionate teachers and I have a lot of great ideas on how to expand the knowledge even further, and we are looking forward to sharing and growing with you.  If you have any questions always know we here and open to help.  Thank you for being a part of stretch and for knowing the most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself.
Namaste,
Liz
